Turkish Oval Jumbo Poppy (also called “bfg” as in Big Fat Giants). Papaver Somniferum L .
Known for its extremely large poppy heads and the special, slightly oval shape. The flowers are extremely large and incredibly beautiful!
High alkaloid poppy with enormous potential – I have grown in small pots of 5 liters and still got good results. If you grow in larger ones they become absolutely incredible (2 meters is not uncommon) and this variety tolerates the heat better than some others. Perfect for the prepper, the collector or you who want something completely unique. Of course, it fits excellently in flower arrangements – both fresh and dried.
